The Body of Christ
Jesus hasn’t changed. But the people he touches are transformed forever. 2000 years ago, when Jesus touched a blind man’s eyes, suddenly the man could see. When Jesus touched a deaf person’s ears, he could hear. When Jesus touched a paralytic’s hand, the paralyzed person got up and walked. We believe Jesus still does miraculous things like this today. But beyond changing physical conditions, these miracles can be taken figuratively as well. Jesus removes the blind spots from our lives and allows us to see how God is working inside us. He enables us to hear His voice. He gives us the ability to walk in relationship with him and participate in a marvelous adventure of helping others. This is what Catalyst is all about.
